FAQ
Do you do floor polishing in Napier?
Yes. Our Napier floor team covers Taradale, Ahuriri and Bay View, polishing and restoring vinyl and hard floors for offices and homes.
How often should vinyl floors be polished?
It depends on foot traffic and wear. Generally every 1 to 2 years for homes, and more often for high-traffic commercial spaces.
Can I polish them myself?
You can, but professional polishing gives the best results. We've got the expertise, equipment and quality products for a superior finish.
Does it work on all vinyl?
Yes, on most types including luxury vinyl tiles (LVT), sheet vinyl and vinyl composite tiles (VCT). We'll confirm the best approach for your floor.
How long does it take?
It varies with the size of the area, the condition of the floors and any extra treatments. Anywhere from a few hours to a day or more.
Can polishing remove scratches?
It can reduce the look of light scratches. Deep or severe scratches may need additional repair.
Do you strip the old polish first?
Yes. Stripping the old polish ensures proper adhesion and a uniform finish. We use the right agents to remove previous wax or polish.
How do I maintain polished floors?
Keep up a regular routine: sweep or vacuum to remove grit, wipe spills promptly, and use cleaning products suitable for vinyl.
